Elmore City-Pernell and Lindsay are moving on to the second round of OSSAA Football State Championship playoffs in their respective classes following wins Friday night. Elmore City-Pernell defeated Oklahoma Christian Academy 42-20, and Lindsay defeated Bethel 26-21.
Elmore City-Pernell will play at Burns Flat-Dill City in the Class A second-round bracket next Friday, while Lindsay will play at Crossings Christian in the Class 2A bracket.
Two other county teams ended their season Friday after losing first-round playoff games. Pauls Valley lost to Heritage Hall 59-20, and Maysville lost to Boise City 44-14.
