•Maysville seventh graders to host Barbeque Sandwich Dinner, Nov. 5
Maysville’s seventh grade class will be holding a Barbeque Sandwich Dinner on Friday, Nov. 5, in the school cafeteria from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the final home football game. Tickets will be $8 and may be purchased from a seventh grader or at the door. Take-outs will be available.
•Maysville FFA/4-H Cake Auction set for Nov. 6
The annual Maysville FFA/4-H Cake Auction will be held Saturday, Nov. 6, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Ag Barn. All proceeds will go to the programs.

•Garvin County Veteran Appreciation Luncheon, Nov. 9
The Garvin County Courthouse will be hosting a Veterans Appreciation Luncheon on the first floor of the courthouse Tuesday, Nov. 9, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. All veterans are invited to attend.
•First United Bank hosts veterans and active duty military cookout, Nov. 10
First United Bank and Burford Corporation are hosting a free cookout for all veterans and active duty military Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the front parking lot of First United Bank, 315 W. Grant Ave., Pauls Valley. Burgers will be served, along with baked beans, potato salad, drinks and dessert.
•Elmore City Fall Festival and Car Show, Nov. 13
The Elmore City Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Fall Festival and Car Show on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Elmore City Lake. There will be bounce houses, food trucks, music, games and vendors. The Chamber will also host a Bingo game at the pavilion at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. •Garvin County 4-H to host “Fallin’ into Fun” fundraiser, Nov. 14
Garvin County Masonic Lodges in Lindsay, Pauls Valley, Stratford and Wynnewood are sponsoring a “Fallin’ into Fun” fundraiser to benefit Garvin County 4-H programs and members. The event will include a barbeque dinner, cornhole tournament and dessert auction on Sunday, Nov. 14, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Garvin County Fairgrounds. Donations will be taken at the door. The double elimination cornhole tournament will begin at 1 p.m. There is a $50 per team entry fee, and cash prizes of $300 for first place, $200 for second place and $100 for third place. •Garvin County Choral Society & Sinfonietta presents Handel’s “Messiah,” Nov. 14
This inaugural concert will present G.F. Handel’s “Messiah” at the Pauls Valley High School Auditorium Sunday, Nov. 14, at 3 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are welcome and encouraged.
