The Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Legislative Luncheon Thursday, Sept. 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Recreation Center, 1005 N. Willow St., in Pauls Valley.
The luncheon is open to the public and provides area residents an opportunity to hear from state lawmakers and to advocate for issues important to the local community.
State legislators, including Sens. Greg McCortney and Jessica Garvin and Reps. Cynthia Roe and Sherrie Conley, will provide updates and insight on current legislation and answer questions from the audience.
The cost is $5 per person and includes a catered meal from Punkin's BBQ & Catfish. Registration will be available at the door beginning at 11:15 a.m., or pre-registration is available online at www. paulsvalleychamber.com.
