The Red Hatters of Maysville are currently selling raffle tickets as part of their annual fundraiser. There will be two drawings, and the prizes are a $100 Walmart gift card and a $100 gift certificate to Papa’s Trading Company.
The tickets are $3 each or two for $5. All proceeds from the ticket sales go toward the group’s “good deeds” program.
This program includes taking supplies to a local women’s shelter, hosting an annual reception for veterans, donating to the Angel Tree program providing Christmas bags for local senior citizens an annual scholarship to a high school graduate and other community needs.
Please look for the ladies wearing red hats for advance ticket sales. They will also have a booth at the Wiley Post Festival where tickets may be purchased.
The drawing will take place on Saturday, September 18, at the Wiley Post Festival in Maysville at 1 p.m., and you do not have to be present to win.
