Dwaine Park, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, was born May 2, 1938, in Crawford, Oklahoma, to Hollis and Bess (Lutz) Park. He passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 in Purcell, Oklahoma, at the age of 83 years.
Wayne grew up in Crawford, Oklahoma, and graduated from high school there. He moved to Pauls Valley in 1977. He loved truck driving which he did after working many years as a dairy man. Wayne loved his family and getting to spend time with them. He enjoyed rodeos and cooking, and was a conversationalist. Wayne loved animals and became an animal whisperer. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his son, Denny Park and wife, Mary Kaye, of Maysville, Oklahoma; daughter, Deanna Perry and husband, Mike, of Holdenville, Oklahoma; sisters, Peggy Kurth of Portland, Oregon and Sharon Hoel of Clearfield, Utah; grandchildren, Mike Park, Mary Elizabeth Parker Perry; and great-grandson, Hayden Park.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; mother of his children, Ann Jean Park; daughter, Veleata Ann Park; and sister, Zelda Payne.
