Former resident and business owner Mr. John Ballard was honored with a 100th birthday celebration come and go reception last Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Pauls Valley First National Bank. Mr. Ballard owned and operated Ballard’s Dairy Queen and later Ballard’s Drive In for over 50 years in Pauls Valley. Many of his Garvin County friends came by to wish him well on his special day.
