I recently traveled to Washington, D.C., for the Women in Government Medicaid Policy Symposium, where I served on the steering committee and moderated a discussion titled “Improving Financial Outcomes: Rural Emergency Hospital Conversions.”
During the session, we discussed how converting to the Rural Emergency Hospital model may help some struggling hospitals remain open.
