New art added to library collection
Beekeepers with the Washita Valley Beekeepers group removed a non-aggressive bee colony from a tree trunk in the Maysville area last weekend. While there, local law enforcement notified them of a second, more aggressive colony a few blocks away that had to be eradicated. The Garvin County OSU Extension Office said specimen from the second colony have been sent for testing to try and determine what type of bees it contained. Maysville tag agent Linda Massey retired this week, closing the Maysville Tag Agency. She worked in the tag office for 45 years, serving 34 of those as tag agent.
