Fire destroyed a house in the 1000 block of South Chickasaw Street over the weekend. The house, which caught fire sometime before 9 p.m. Sunday, was vacant and it is believed there was no electric service to the home, according to officials. Pauls Valley Fire Chief Scott Wood said the structure was already fully involved when fire crews arrived. Wood said the cause of the fire is still unknown. The Rush Creek and Wynnewood fire departments assisted with fighting the blaze.
