Brutally cold temperatures and a chance for winter precipitation forecast for this upcoming week have already caused some scheduling changes for the Garvin County Junior Livestock Show, which is set to get underway Monday and run through Feb. 24.
Show organizers have shifted the swine show weigh-in and show times, originally scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, to later in the week. As of now, swine show weigh-in will be Thursday evening, beginning at 6 p.m., and the swine show will get underway at 9 a.m. Friday.
