Area children had the opportunity to get a closer look at a variety of first responder vehicles, construction vehicles and even the AirEvac helicopter Saturday as Elmore City EMS hosted its first-ever Touch-a-Truck event. The fundraiser brought in about $1,200, which will go toward a new Elmore City EMS building.
