Stratford Fire Dept. to host Fishing with Firemen May 14

The Stratford Fire Department will be hosting its second annual Fishing with Firemen event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 14 at the Stratford City Lake. “It’s just a great opportunity for us to spend time investing in local kids,” Stratford Fire Chief Branum Dempsey said. “We teach them how to bait their hook and cast their line in the water - just the basics of fishing.” ...
