The Pauls Valley Rotary Club is inviting the local community to help them with a service project to collect supplies for the Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
The group is accepting donations of plastic silverware, paper towels, laundry soap pods, bleach tablets, 9-by-13-inch foil pans, 55-gallon trash bags, printer paper, dryer sheets, disposable bowls, tall kitchen trash bags and hand sanitizer.
Donations can be dropped off at Williamsburg Small Animal Hospital, 34508 W. Airline Rd., in Pauls Valley before Saturday, Nov. 8.
The Pauls Valley Rotary Club’s supply drive for PAWS is just one of multiple service projects being carried out across central and southwestern Oklahoma as part of Rotary District 5770’s Day of Service, Nov. 8.
Rotary International was founded 120 years ago and has since spread around the globe. Local clubs provide opportunities for networking and fellowship as Rotarians make a difference through commitment to their motto, “Service Above Self.” The Day of Service is a coordinated effort by Oklahoma Rotarians to engage with others in their local communities who also have hearts of service.
