Restored Hearts and Soles benefits from blood drive

The Oklahoma Blood Institute donated $480 to the Restored Hearts and Soles Foundation in Pauls Valley this week, as part of OBI's 'Greater Good' blood donation program. The program serves as a dual fundraiser and blood drive that allows community donor groups to designate a local nonprofit to benefit from a financial gift if the donor group meets a preset goal. Pauls Valley's Nora Sparks Warren Library exceeded its goal during a recent blood drive, resulting in the donation to Restored Hearts and Soles, which provides new shoes to children in need.
