Ogden wins top prize at Okie Noodling Tournament

The venue for this year’s Okie Noodling Tournament may have been different, but for those competing in the event, the goal was still the same – to haul in the biggest fish and take home the tournament title.

This year the prize for “Biggest Fish” went to Clay Ogden, who weighed in with a 63.82-pound catfish. Ogden also earned the top spot in the tournament’s Scuba Division with the same fish.

Nathan Williams won the tournament’s runner-up spot, and second place in the Scuba Division, with a 61.78pound fish. Finishing out the Scuba Division were Nicky Draper in third place with a 56.78-pound fish, Hayden Davidson in fourth place at 52.25 pounds, Case Taylor in fifth place at 46.97 pounds, and Cody Stacy in sixth with 46.44 pounds.

In the Natural Division, Phierce Williams took first place with a 53.52-pound catfish. Williams also won first place in the 18 and Under Division with the same fish. Trevor Robson came in second in the Natural Division with a 52.55-pound fish. Lane Taylor took third place in the Natural Division, as well as second place in the 18 and Under Division, with a 52.31-pound fish. Rounding out the Natural Division were Beau Fincher in fourth place with a fish weight of 48.67 pounds, Richard Hernandez in fifth place with 48.05 pounds, and Kyle Draper in sixth with 47.78 pounds.

The top contender in the Female Division was Jennifer Bennett with a fish weighing in at 35.5 pounds. Second place went to Tricia Hobson with a fish weight of 29.28 pounds.

This year the prize for Smallest Fish went to Levi Bennett with a fish weighing in at just .15 pounds. Bennett won last year’s tournament with a 74.29pound catfish.
