The First United Methodist Church in Pauls Valley began demolition of its original church sanctuary this week. The 100-year-old structure is being removed to make way for a more modern facility. During the demolition Monday morning, a piece of heavy equipment being used on-site was knocked over and caught in the debris. The equipment was eventually freed and work continued at the site.
