Pauls Valley patrol officer Brittany McGehee was promoted to patrol sergeant during Pauls Valley’s City Council meeting Tuesday.
McGehee began her career with the Pauls Valley Police Department as a dispatcher in 2008. She was commissioned as a reserve police officer in 2012 while working as the department’s evidence clerk. In 2014 she joined the department’s patrol staff as a full-time sworn officer.
During her time with the agency, she has also held the positions of dispatch supervisor and records clerk.
“Sgt. McGehee has an extensive knowledge of most positions within our agency and has a commendable amount of training and experience,” PV Police Chief Derrick Jolley said.
“Now as one of our department’s supervisors, she will be able to better utilize her leadership skills and job knowledge to benefit our citizens, our agency and the City of Pauls Valley.”
