Laura McClain began her first term as Garvin County’s associate district judge this week. Friends, family and supporters packed the Garvin County courtroom where McClain (left) was sworn in Monday morning. Her father, retired Associate District Judge Richard McClain (center), stood by her side as she took the oath of office.
