Lindsay student places at American Legion Dist. 5B oratorical contest

Nola Salie represented the Lindsay Ball-Smith Post 23 at the District 5B oratorical contest in Lexington Jan.7. She placed third while competing against American Legion representatives from Norman, Moore and Elmore City. First and second place will advance to the state competition in Edmond in February.
Salie was presented a bronze pin and a cash award of $100 by District 5B Commander Dale Haynes.
