K-9 Veterans Day

Students at Pauls Valley Intermediate School and Whitebead School enjoyed a visit from K-9 teams working for different Garvin County law enforcement agencies Wednesday in honor of K-9 Veterans Day. 

Paoli Police Chief Bradley Uhles and his K-9 partner Lyla, a Labrador Retriever trained in drug detection, were at Pauls Valley Intermediate School Wednesday morning to speak to students about the work they do. Maysville Police Chief Doug Jolley and his K-9 partner Nero, a Belgian Malinois trained in drug detection and aprehension, joined Uhles and Lyla for the afternoon program at Whitebead.

The program was coordinated by Pauls Valley National Bank.
