Hearing in 2022 shooting case draws show of solidarity from local law enforcement community

Nearly 40 law enforcement officers from local departments gathered on the second floor of the Garvin County Courthouse Tuesday morning in a show of support as a preliminary hearing for William Philpott got underway.
Philpott is accused of shooting at local law enforcement officers responding to a disturbance call at his parents’ rural home, west of the Pauls Valley City Lake in June of 2022.
