Garvin County Extension FCS Educator Julie Selman will be leading a free, six-week program designed specifically for cancer survivors who have completed treatment. The supportive series will help you take the next steps in your survivorship journey — right here in our community.
Cancer does not end with treatment. This program hopes to fill the gaps that may remain in your journey after active treatment.
The program will be Tuesdays, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Nora Sparks Warren Library in Pauls Valley. Each weekly session includes practical education on topics like nutrition, physical activity, mental health, finances, and follow- up care, along with opportunities to connect with others who understand your experience.
Participants must pre-register for the program. For more information contact Julie Selman at Julie.Selman@okstate.edu.
Persons with disabilities who require alternative means for communication or program information or reasonable accommodation need to contact Heather Hanneman at 405-238-6681 or heather.hanneman@okstate.edu at least two weeks prior to the event.
