Youth from 4-H clubs across the county gathered at the Garvin County Fairgrounds Community Building April 8 to show off their culinary skills as they competed in the local 4-H Food Showdown contest.

Participants in the Food Showdown compete to create a dish that demonstrates their knowledge of food and nutrition, kitchen safety, culinary skills and creativity in food preparation and presentation.
