Construction crews began removing sheet metal from the exterior of the livestock show barn at the county fairgrounds this week. The weathered metal siding and roofs will be replaced with new metal, and spray foam insulation will be added. The work is part of a $630,000 project to renovate the barns, which will be paid for with American Rescue Plan Act funds.
