Elmore City EMS has a new ride.
The first of two brand-new ambulances expected to be put in service by Elmore City EMS this year arrived in the county last week. Elmore City EMS Director Jason Cook said the new truck should be officially in service by the end of the month.
A second, slightly smaller, ambulance is expected to arrive sometime in September.
