The Elmore City-Pernell Elementary School's Pre-Kindergarten program will be holding enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year Monday, March 28, and Tuesday, March 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. Students must be 4 years old by September 1, 2022, to be eligible for enrollment.
School officials are asking parents to sign up for a specific time to bring their child in for enrollment so a school readiness assessment may be administered.
Parents can complete an enrollment form online at www.ecpbadgers.com (2023 Pre-K Enrollment) and call to schedule an appointment. Please be aware March 11-20 is Spring Break, and no one will be available at the school during that week.
Parents will need to bring the following documents to their appointment: child's state-issued birth certificate, hospital copies will not be accepted; child's Social Security card; child's updated shot records; proof of residency such as a utility bill which shows the physical address, no post office box addresses; and a CDIB card, if applicable.
Elmore City-Pernell Superintendent and Elementary Principal Sheila Riddle stressed that enrollments CANNOT be processed unless all documents are present.
