A single-vehicle motorcycle accident in Murray County early Wednesday morning has claimed the life of an Elmore City man.
Cully Turner, 51, of Elmore City, was transported by Air-Evac to OU Medical Center in critical condition with trunk internal, arm, leg and head injuries after his 2017 Harley Davidson departed the roadway about five miles north of Davis in Murray County just before 1 a.m. Wednesday.
The motorcycle departed the road to the right going into a broad slide and ejecting Turner as he was traveling southbound on US-77. A helmet was not in use.
Turner died Friday from injuries sustained in the collision.
The cause is under investigation.
The accident was investigated by Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troop F Murray/Garvin County Detachment.
