Elementary students celebrate ‘Grandma Pat’s’ 90th birthday

    Patsy Spencer’s 90th birthday celebration on Sept. 14 began with a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday” sung by 475 Pauls Valley Elementary School students gathered in the PVES gym.

    Spencer, known affectionately to PVES students as Grandma Pat, has been a volunteer serving Pauls Valley elementary students for 17 years as part of the Delta Community Action Foundation’s Foster Grandparent program.
