As we gear up for the Fourth of July celebrations, the Pass Prevention Coalition is reminding everyone to celebrate responsibly. Please remember, do not drive under the influence of alcohol or any substances.
The holiday weekend is known for fun and festivities, but it's also a time when the number of impaired driving incidents can surge. Pass Prevention Coalition encourages everyone to plan ahead, whether that means having a designated driver, using public transport, or calling a rideshare service.
This Independence Day let’s enjoy our freedom while keeping our roads safe. If you see someone trying to drive after drinking, don’t hesitate to step in and help them find a safer way home.
PASS Prevention Coalition is a local coalition of individuals and organizations working together in our community to prevent substance misuse and provide support to families struggling with drug addictions. The PASS Coalition meets at noon on the third Tuesday of each month at the First United Bank in Pauls Valley and on Google Meet. The PASS Coalition is funded by the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Prevention Services, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration.
