Co-Parenting for Resilience class, Aug. 20
The next Co-Parenting for Resilience course will be Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the Garvin County Courthouse. Extension Family & Consumer Sciences Educator Julie Selman provides in-person classes for Garvin County. All classes are held from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Commissioner's Conference Room, first floor.
Registration and fees must be received by the Garvin County Extension Office no later than Friday, Aug.15. If the class does not meet a minimum registration of three participants, the class will be canceled due to OSU policy. Next Fifth Friday Art Walk is Aug. 29
The Pauls Valley Arts Council will host its next Fifth Friday Art Walk Aug. 29 from 5:55 to 9 p.m. in downtown Pauls Valley. The August Art Walk will feature the PVAC Member Show at the Arts Council Building, 220 W. Paul Ave., free carriage rides through downtown, and live music at the Depot pavilion from the band Paid in Full, along with a preview of Mozart’s “Magic Flute” by the Garvin County Choral Society.
Washita Valley Beekeepers meet second Saturday
The Washita Valley Beekeepers Association meets the second Saturday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Nora Sparks Warren Library, 210 N. Willow in Pauls Valley.

Maysville Men’s Breakfast, Aug. 9
Men from age 13 to 99 are invited to attend a Men’s Breakfast August 9 at 8 a.m. at the Foundation Church Fellowship Hall, 705 Mays St., in Maysville. The breakfast is a time to fellowship, get to know each other, build relationships and mentor each other. There is no cost for the breakfast, but love donations will be accepted. The breakfast is held the second Saturday of every month.
Library Story Time
Children 4 and under are invited to come have fun reading, singing and crafting during Story Time at the Nora Sparks Warren Library, 210 N. Willow St., in Pauls Valley. Story Time is from 10-10:30 a.m. each Thursday.
