‘Art in the House and in the Yard’ at the Murray Lindsay Mansion, July 12

The Lindsay Community Historical Society is hosting its annual Art in the House and in the Yard Saturday, July 12, at 9 a.m. at the Murray Lindsay Mansion Museum in Erin Springs. Come enjoy family art, fun activities and games. There will be jewelry crafts, photo art, clay modeling, and pencil sketches inside the house, and yard activities outside will include bean bag toss, corn hole, and hula hoop games. Admission is free.

LCHS will also welcome two visiting artist, Teresa Moore and Bryan Bramblett, from Alex, Oklahoma.

Moore will demonstrate pottery making, and Bramblett will teach techniques of pencil sketching. Both artists will have artwork on display for sale.

Join PV Chamber of Commerce for Music Bingo, July 17

The Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce will host a Music Bingo night Thursday, July 17, at 6 p.m at the Pauls Valley Arts and Cultural Center, 220 W. Paul Ave.

Everyone is invited to attend the unique fundraising event. Admission is free, and bingo cards are $10 each.

Music Bingo works just like regular bingo but instead of numbers, the host DJ plays clips of popular songs from the ’80s and ’90s. Guests cross the songs off on their cards. The first player to cross off five songs in a row wins a prize.

Summer Stories, Wednesdays in July

SEVEN, a local speech, drama and debate group, will present Summer Stories, a special story hour with wholesome stories for children, each Wednesday through July. Summer Stories will meet at 10 a.m. at the Nora Sparks Warren Library, 210 N. Willow St., in Pauls Valley. The event is free and open to the public.

 

49th annual Stratford Peach Festival set for July 19

The 2025 Stratford Peach Festival will be July 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Stratford City Park.

Organized by Stratford Little League, this year’s Peach Festival will include a car show, turtle races, kids rides, games and inflatables, live local performers, the Peach Royalty Pageant, cornhole, more than 75 retail, food and craft vendors and, of course, plenty of peaches.

Maysville Men’s Breakfast, July 12

Men from age 13 to 99 are invited to attend a Men’s Breakfast July 12 at 8 a.m. at the Foundation Church Fellowship Hall, 705 Mays St., in Maysville. The breakfast is a time to fellowship, get to know each other, build relationships and mentor each other. There is no cost for the breakfast, but love donations will be accepted. The breakfast is held the second Saturday of every month.
