OKLAHOMA CITY — Bring the whole family to the Oklahoma History Center Museum Saturday, Jan. 17, from 10:30 a.m.12:30 p.m., for a fun, handson day celebrating the world of pageants.
For this community craft day, kids and adults can decorate their own sashes and tiaras, take memorable photos in a themed photo booth and explore newly installed artifacts in the “Beyond the Sash: Reflections on Oklahoma Pageants” exhibit.
As part of the activities, families can also choose a community platform to support, allowing them to learn about causes and ideas that matter while engaging creatively with the pageant experience. This interactive event is perfect for families seeking a playful, educational and inspiring outing where imagination, history and community converge in one exciting experience.
The craft day is free with the cost of admission to the museum. No registration is required. The events will take place on the third floor.
