•Pauls Valley Library & Sheriff’s Office Blood Drive, Dec. 1
The Garvin County Sheriff’s Office and the Nora Sparks Warren Library will be holding a blood drive on Wednesday, December 1 from 8:45-11:30 a.m. and 1-3:45 p.m. All donors will receive their choice of a long sleeve t-shirt and a free COVID-19 antibody test. •Pesticide Applicator CEU Series, Dec. 2, 7, & 9
Red River Specialties and the McClain County OSU Extension office will be hosting a 3-part series on pesticide application. Each class will count as two CEU’s (continuing education credits) toward your private applicator certification in categories 1a, 3a, and 6. •Maysville High School Blood Drive, Dec. 3
The Maysville High School will be hosting a blood drive from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday, December 3 in the FACS room at the high school. All donors will receive their choice of long sleeve t-shirt and a free COVID-19 antibody test.
•Pauls Valley’s Hometown Christmas Parade, Dec. 6
Pauls Valley’s “A Hometown Christmas” Parade will be held on Monday, December 6 at 7 p.m. For information on participating in the Parade of Lights, please call City Hall at 405-238-3308 ext. 157.
•Antioch First Tuesday Luncheon, Dec. 7
The Antioch Community Association will host the First Tuesday Luncheon at the Antioch School/Senior Center at noon on Tuesday, December 7. As always, the meal is furnished, but desserts will be appreciated. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome. •Wynnewood’s Downtown Christmas Parade, Dec. 8
The Wynnewood Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their annual Christmas parade on Wednesday, December 8 at 6:30 p.m. There will also be a chili-cook off at 5:30 p.m.
•Pauls Valley Rotary Club Baked Potato Fundraiser, Dec. 8
The Pauls Valley Rotary Club will be hosting a Baked Potato Fundraiser lunch on Wednesday, December 8, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Christian Life Church at 820 South Walnut. Potato will be served with your choice of toppings, drink, and dessert. Meals may be dine-in or carry-out. Suggested donation is $8; all donations will go toward Rotary projects and scholarships
•Maysville Public Library’s Santa’s Gift Shop, Dec. 9 & 10
The Maysville Public Library will be holding Santa’s Gift Shop from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. December 9 & 10. Ornaments, pillows, jewelry, handmade items, toys, and much more will be available with some items starting at $1. Everyone is welcome to come by.
•Elmore City’s Christmas Parade of Lights, Dec. 11
The Elmore City Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 2nd annual Christmas Parade of Lights in Elmore City. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a chili cook-off.
•Marijuana Town Hall Meeting with Rep. Cindy Roe, Dec. 16
Join Representative Cindy Roe to discuss marijuana issues in Oklahoma. Speakers will include representatives from OBN, OMMA, and law enforcement. Meeting will begin at 6:30 at the D.W.R.R.C. in Pauls Valley and will include presentations and time for questions.
•Pauls Valley Library accepting passport applications
The Nora Sparks Warren Library, 210 N. Willow St., Pauls Valley now accepts passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Dept. of State. U.S. citizens planning on traveling internationally may apply for their passport at the library by appointment only. Please call 405-238-5188 to reserve a time.

The Nora Sparks Warren Library now has angels available for adoption. If you would like to adopt an angel, or simply donate to Angel Tree, stop by the Pauls Valley Library for more information.
•Christmas in Maysville Food Basket applications now available
Christmas in Maysville food basket applications for Maysville residents in need may be picked up at the Maysville Library, Jack’s Pharmacy, or the Garvin County New Star office.
