•Murray Lindsay Mansion and the Pikes Peak School set summer tour hours
Weekend museum tours at the Murray Lindsay Mansion and the Pikes Peak School located in Erin Springs will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Weekend tours will be available through the month of August, except for the Memorial Day and Fourth of July weekends, when the museums will be closed. •Antioch First Tuesday Luncheon, July 5 at noon
The Antioch Community Association will host the First Tuesday Luncheon at the Antioch School/Senior Center July 5. Lunch will be served at noon, and as always, the meal is furnished, but desserts will be appreciated. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome. •Lindsay Library Board meeting, July 6, 4 p.m.
The Lindsay Library Board meets the first Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m. in the multipurpose room at the Lindsay City Library, 112. W. Choctaw St. All meetings are open to the public.
•Wynnewood Round-Up Club Rodeo, June 8-9
The 64th Annual Wynnewood Round-up Club Rodeo is July 8-9 at 8 p.m. nightly at the Round-Up Club Arena, 1402 E. Allen Street. Admisission is $10 for ages 12 and up, and $5 for ages 6-12. The Rodeo parade is set for 10 a.m. July 9. Parade lineup will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Wynnewood Park, on the north end of Dean A. McGee Avenue.
•Maysville large item pick up days July 11-12
Maysville town maintenance workers will be picking up large items that cannot be put in the dumpsters on July 11 and 12. The service is also meant assist those citizens who might not have the means to bring large items to the roll-off dumpster at the town maintenance yard. If residents want to make sure their items are picked up, they may call the Town Office at 405-867-5850 and leave an address for the workers to go by. Items need to be out by the curb or by the dumpsters, but not so close that the truck doesn’t have room to pick up the dumpsters.
•Community Sewing Class, July 11, 6-8 p.m.
The next community sewing class for the Pauls Valley Sewing Program is July 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chip Howard Building at the Garvin County Fairgrounds. This month’s lesson will be how to create a double-folded hem. Supplies needed are sewing kit, thread and pants or shorts to practice hemming. Donated materials are available for those who need them. Fifteen seats are available. Reservations can be made with the Garvin County OSU Extension Office at 405-238-6681.
