Around 50 youth turned out to fish at Stratford's Fishing with Firemen event Saturday. Stratford firefighters spent the day helping children bait their hooks and cast their lines in the water. The Stratford Fire Department hosted the event in cooperation with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife. Each child who attended received a free fishing pole and starter tackle box.
