Two area youth will move on to compete at the district level after winning the top two spots in the Pauls Valley Rotary Club's Four-Way Speech Contest Jan. 15 at Christian Life Church. First-place winner Rachel Hamilton and second-place winner Milo Jones will advance to competition in Ardmore Jan. 31. Samantha Davis was awarded third-place in the local contest. The contest topic is: “What is the history of the Rotary Four-Way Test, and how can using it improve lives?” All three local winners were awarded prize checks, presented by Pauls Valley Club President Carolyn Williams.
