The construction of a $300 million resort along the Oklahoma River is projected to generate 1,400 jobs annually with a payroll of $80.7 million and $226.3 million in construction expenditures. The Chickasaw Nation announced plans to build the OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark adjacent to the new First Americans Museum, which opened last month. Construction is expected to begin in May and be completed in late spring 2024.
