COVID-19 ended 2021 with fury. On Dec. 28 there were 441,000 new cases of COVID-19 in the U.S – the largest single-day case number since the start of the pandemic, Dr. Dale Bratzler said Wednesday during a situation update. Oklahoma Hospital Association numbers show a steady increase in COVID admissions over the past seven weeks.
