A 15,000-square-foot artwork, identified as the largest augmented reality mural in the world, is turning heads and capturing imaginations after formally being unveiled in Tulsa. Known as “The Majestic,” the mural occupies an entire side of the Main Park Plaza at 410 S. Main in Tulsa’s downtown. It would be an eye-catcher even without its “AR” element, but that attraction actually encourages people to interact with the art via smartphone. The artwork was designed to allow any viewer to use a mobile device on-site to access a 3D interactive experience via QR code. The piece then actually “comes alive” with animations and audio content.
